
Ludgate appoints two directors
Ludgate Investments Ltd has appointed Bernard Bulkin and Ekaterina Sharashidze as non-executive directors of its investment committee.
Bulkin has been a senior adviser at Vantage Point Capital Partners since 2004, when he left his position as chief scientist at BP. He is a professorial fellow at Cambridge University and serves as chair of the office of renewable energy deployment in the UK department of energy and climate change. Bulkin has also written books and papers on sustainability, climate change and the future of technology within the energy industry.
Sharashidze is currently a managing partner at Ocean Capital Holding and previously held the role of executive director and board member at Samena Capital. She has also held cabinet positions including minister of economic development, chief of staff and economic adviser to the president in the government of Georgia.
Ludgate has invested more than £75m in 25 businesses over the last decade.
