Lone Star purchases Jurys Inn for £680m
US private equity firm Lone Star Funds has acquired hotel chain Jurys Inn from a consortium of investors for ТЃ680m.
The US GP has bought the company from previous owners Oman Investment Fund (OIF), Mount Kellet Capital Management, Ulster Bank (part of RBS), Westmont Hospitality Group and Avestus Capital Partners.
The transaction follows Jurys Inn's capital restructuring in May 2013 and its recent purchase of three leasehold properties, which operate under the Double Tree by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn brands.

Jurys Inn operates 31 hotels – four in London, 21 throughout the rest of the UK, five in Ireland and one in Prague. The company employs 2,000 people. Three of the hotels operate under the Double Tree by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn brands.
