
Isis invests £18m in YSC buyout
Isis Equity Partners has invested £18m in the £38m MBO of YSC, a global business psychology firm.
The fresh capital will enable continued international expansion, particularly in emerging markets, and will build on the recent openings of YSC's offices in Singapore and Shanghai.
YSC will be led by a new management team comprising Paul Ballman, Andy Houghton and Robert Sharrock. Gurnek Bains and Ken Rowe, who have led YSC since 1991, will become chairman and vice chairman respectively.

Founded in London in 1990, YSC is a global firm of business psychologists, with 120 consultants working from 15 international offices. The company opened its New York office in 2000 and has since expanded across the globe.

Liz Jones and Rupinder Cheema led the deal on behalf of Isis. Gurnek Bains is the chairman of YSC.
