
PE-backed Nomad Digital buys Inova Multimedia
Nomad Digital, a provider of connectivity solutions to the transportation sector backed by Amadeus Capital Partners, T-Mobile Ventures, SEB Venture Capital and North Star Ventures, has acquired Inova Multimedia, a German provider of information, entertainment and CCTV systems on public transport.
No fresh capital was provided to fund the acquisition of Inova.
In July 2008, SEB Venture Capital and North Star Ventures led a second round of funding of £6m for Nomad Digital. T-Mobile Ventures and Amadeus Capital Partners, which both injected £8m into the firm in 2006, also invested in the transaction.
In 2007, the company bolted on QinetiQ Rail as part of its growth strategy.

Founded in 1997 and based in Hildesheim, the firm has installations in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Malaysia and Switzerland.
