Hutton Collins backs acquisition of Hunter Boots
Hutton Collins has provided ТЃ32m in PIK and equity to fund the majority buyout of footwear and accessories supplier Hunter Boots by US-based GP Searchlight Capital Partners.
The new equity will be used to support the company's expansion into new markets and the development of its product range.
The investment was drawn from Hutton Collins Fund III, which closed on €600m in June 2008.

Hunter Boots is a British supplier of footwear and accessories, with particular focus on Wellington boots. The company is more than 150 years old and holds two royal warrants.
In 2010, Hunter's turnover amounted to £56m with profits of £16m. The company has offices in London, Edinburgh and New York. Its products are sold in more than 30 countries.
