
Crescent leads £1m round for Analytics Engines
Crescent Capital has led a funding round of more than £1m for Analytics Engines, a Belfast-based developer of data-processing applications.
The fresh funding will allow Analytics Engines to accelerate product development and pursue further international expansion.
In October last year, Crescent launched its third venture capital fund, Crescent III, on £22.5m following a £15m commitment from cornerstone investor Invest NI under its Access to Finance portfolio scheme.

Analytics Engines span out from ECIT Institute in 2008. The Belfast-headquartered company has developed a family of accelerators that are designed to speed up processing for business and application data.

Stephen McKeown is the CEO of Analytics Engines. Crescent investment manager Deirdre Terrins led the origination and execution of the deal for the firm.
