
Albion backs healthcare software firm MyMeds&Me
Albion Ventures has invested £2m in British healthcare software-as-a-service (SaaS) business MyMeds&Me.
The new capital will be used to develop the company's software platform and fund its commercial roll-out.

MyMeds&Me is a London-based software company, providing a web-based solution for real-time feedback of pharmaceuticals from both patients and healthcare professionals.
The SaaS business was founded by Stephen Powell, Andrew Rut and Trevor Gibbs in 2011. MyMeds&Me is working with pharma companies, as well as other players in the sector with interest in consumer data. The company is not profitable yet.

Albion's Andrew Elder, partner in the healthcare team, led the investment for the GP. Andrew Rut and Stephen Powell are CEO and chairman of MyMeds&Me respectively.
