Palatine-backed MoneyPlus buys Richardson Mail
Palatine Private Equityтs MoneyPlus Group has purchased Manchester-based Richardson Mail.
The transaction saw MoneyPlus authorised as a licensed body by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. The company is now a licensed ABS (alternative business structure), meaning it is able to provide legal services.
The deal follows MoneyPlus's acquisition of debt management company Debt Free Me in September 2012, and is the seventh bolt-on deal made by the company since Palatine supported its management buyout in 2011, according to unquote" data.
Company
Based in Sale, Richardson Mail specialises in dispute resolution and debt recovery advice, as well as wills and probate. The company also advises landlords and tenants on rental agreements.

Chris Davis is the CEO of MoneyPlus. Ed Fazakerley is a partner at Palatine and non-executive director at MoneyPlus.
