Enterprise Ventures et al. back Knight Warner
Enterprise Ventures, Turning Point and management have invested in UK-based process automation equipment manufacturer Knight Warner.
Commercial director Dave Knight and techical director Colin Powell, who are both founders, invested alongside managing director Kevin Parker.
The fresh capital will be used to fund the company's growth programme, which includes developing infrastructure, investing in new products and expanding into international markets.
Knight Warner recently secured a £1.1m order from Melbourne-based Icon Equipment International, and completed a project for Nampak.
Enterprise Ventures is a venture capital fund that invests up to £2m in UK-based companies operating in the information technology, communications, life sciences, business services, manufacturing and distribution sectors. Based in Birmingham, the firm manages approximately £130m in funds. Its portfolio includes Centaur Technologies, Woodall Nicholson and Xeros.
