
Rutland’s Millbrook acquires Test World
Rutland Partners has supported Millbrook’s acquisition of Test World, a Finnish winter vehicle and tyre-testing business.
Following the deal, the newly combined business will offer varied tracks and test facilities for components and complete vehicles.
Test World's management team has remained with the business. The company's operations and services will continue as normal following the transaction.
Previous funding
Rutland acquired Millbrook from former parent General Motors in October 2013.
Company
Test World, based in Ivalo, northern Finland, operates testing facilities including specialist tyre testing and a range of winter tracks, as well as indoor facilities for testing winter tyres on snow throughout the year.
Millbrook, based in Bedfordshire, UK, offers testing facilities and engineering processes for the automotive, energy and defence sectors.
