Chamonix sells Regain Polymers to Aurelius
Industrial holding Aurelius has acquired plastics compounder and recycler Regain Polymers from Chamonix Private Equity.
The exit comes almost five years after Chamoix wholly acquired the company from Linpac Group in 2010.
Aurelius hopes to increase revenues through a rising demand for recycled content in plastics from retailers and automotive equipment manufacturers.
Company
Founded in 1991 and based in the West Yorkshire parish of Allerton Bywater, Regain is a compounder and recycler of post-use, rigid plastics. Its costumers include operators in the automotive, environmental, horticultural, packaging and construction markets. The company has 100 empolyees and reported a turnover of £31m for 2014.
