
LDC supports £45m Anite Travel MBO
LDC has backed the £45m management buyout of UK-based Anite Travel, the travel business of software supplier Anite.
The transaction will enable the business to operate as an independent entity, led by managing director Mike Kingswood. The company will focus on product development, expansion on an international scale and acquisitive growth.
Former parent company Anite will focus on the development of its wireless test solutions.
LDC's investments in the travel and leisure segment include Forest Holidays and Corporate Travel International.
Debt
HSBC provided a debt package to support the transaction.
Company
Anite is based in Slough and has developed reservation systems for tour, cruise and ferry operators for around 30 years. Corporate clients include European tour operators TUI and Thomas Cook.
The company employs 160 staff.
