
BGF invests £2m in Castleton
Business Growth Fund (BGF) has invested £2m in AIM-listed Castleton Technology to support its acquisition of Kypera Holdings.
BGF invested alongside Castleton's existing investor MXC Capital, which injected £1.5m, while Barclays extended its bank facilities by a further £1m.
BGF Quoted, a specialist team focused on listed businesses, led the deal for BGF. As well as funding the Kypera deal, the fresh capital will be used to support the company's growth, which could include further acquisitions.
