
Albion backs Hilson Moran MBO
Albion Ventures has invested in Hilson Moran Holdings Limited to back the £5m management buyout of engineering and environmental consultancy company Hilson Moran Partnership Limited from Altran Technologies S.A.
Albion was attracted by Hilson Moran's strong growth record and management team.
The investment matches Albion's preference of investing £1-10m in growing business ranging from technology-oriented companies to asset-based businesses.

Established by Jim Hilson and Peter Moran in 1977, Hilson Moran is an international, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy focusing on the design, procurement, occupation and operation of buildings in the public and private sector. Last year, the company achieved a 20% increase in turnover.
The company employs over 200 staff based in London, Manchester, Farnborough, Abu Dhabi and Qatar. Hilson Moran's London projects include The Gherkin, Wembley Arena and the Olympic Village.
