
Cabot Square injects £25m into Henry Howard Finance
Cabot Square Capital has committed £25m to Henry Howard Finance, a finance provider for SMEs, in exchange for a controlling stake.
The fresh funding will allow Henry Howard to boost its direct finance provision for SMEs and to write more business using its own capital. The company will also focus on the development of its technological infrastructure and launch its online funding portal.
Cabot Square is a financial services-focused private equity firm. The GP is currently investing capital from its fourth fund, CS Capital Partners IV. Recent transactions include the sale of Key Retirement Solutions to Phoenix Equity Partners, in a deal that saw Cabot reap 5x money.
