
Alcuin buys TileCo Group from Graphite
Alcuin Capital Partners has backed the management buyout of TileCo Group, a UK-based supplier of tile, mosaic and stone products, from Graphite Capital.
Asset-based lender Centric Commercial Finance provided debt to support the transaction, which includes an invoice discounting line and cash flow facility. The management team also committed capital to acquire a stake in the firm.
Alcuin typically invests £2-10m per transaction and is currently investing from The Third Alcuin Fund, which holds capital commitments of approximately £100m.

Founded in 2000 and based in Surrey, TileCo Group trades under two brands, Domus and Surface. The company manufactures and sells tile, mosaic and stone products in the UK and internationally for application in the commercial, office, infrastructure and residential sectors.
