
SEP backs Matches Fashion with £12m
Scottish Equity Partners has backed UK-based fashion retailer Matches Fashion with a £12m growth capital injection.
The funding will support the expansion of the firm's online sales, alongside further development of its stores in London.

Founded in 1990 and based in London, Matches Fashion is a luxury fashion retailer that sells products from more than 250 international designer labels.
The company has an online sales channel and 14 stores across London. The firm expects to end 2012 with a £50m turnover, 60% of which is driven from online sales. The company's predicted turnover represents a 120% increase on 2011.

Andrew Davison and Jan Rutherford led the deal for SEP. Davison has joined the company's board of directors.
