
CBPE buys Xafinity Consulting
CBPE Capital has carved British pensions consultancy firm Xafinity Consulting out from Advent International-owned Equiniti Group.
The deal remains subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in Q1 2013.
Lloyds Commercial Banking provided a senior loan for the transaction, led by Jeremy Perl.

Xafinity Consulting is a London-based consultancy firm, providing consulting services in the area of actuarial, pensions, healthcare and other employee benefits issues. The firm also provides administrative services for the same areas. Its client portfolio includes more than 450 pension schemes, with a total of approximately 200,000 members. Xafinity employs 1,300 people across 14 offices in the UK.

Investment director Ian Moore led the buyout on behalf of CBPE. Robert Birmingham is CEO of Xafinity.
