Terra Firma's Infinis acquires three UK wind farms
British renewable power generator Infinis, a portfolio company of Terra Firma, has acquired a portfolio of three onshore wind farms from Broadview Energy Limited.
The deal was financed by an Infinis Holding subsidiary. Following the acquisition, Infinis will be operating more that 140 power plants in the UK.
The newly acquired wind farms are all financed with debt and have contracted offtake agreements.
Terra Firma acquired Infinis for €122m in 2003. The investment was made via Terra Firma Capital Partners Fund II.

The Broadview Energy portfolio includes the two operating wind farms Hill of Fiddes and Low Spinney, which are located in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and Lutterworth, Leicestershire. The third wind farm is currently under construction in Stockton-On-Tees, Teesside. The portfolio will have a combined capacity of 25.23 MW.
