H2 Equity Partners acquires Eurocell
H2 Equity Partners has wholly acquired Eurocell, a UK manufacturer and distributor of PVC-u profiles and roofline products.
The previous owner, Belgian company Tessenderlo Group, contacted H2 regarding a potential acquisition of the business. The deal took approximately two months to complete. PNC Bank provided asset-based lending to finance the transaction.
H2 plans to improve decision-making and innovation, develop Eurocell's products, and expand its national branch network.
Founded in 1991, H2 is active in Benelux, Germany and the UK with €500m in funds under management. Its portfolio of 17 companies includes Kreditech, Hancocks Group Holdings and Unipart Automotive.
Company
Based in Alfreton, Derbyshire, Eurocell manufactures PVC-u profiles for windows, doors and conservatories, as well as roofline products. The company is supplying customers via a network of 124 branches throughout the UK and Ireland.
An expansion in the distribution network and market share has increased Eurocell's revenues recently, H2 stated. Eurocell has a turnover of close to £150m and in excess of 900 employees.
