Duke Street sells Adelie Food Holding for $350m
Duke Street has sold Adelie Food Holding to India Hospitality Corp for $350m, according to reports.
The deal was reportedly motivated by the growing demand for quality fast food products in India.
In separate deals in 2006 and 2007, Duke Street acquired Adelie's subsidiaries for approximately €150-200m.
Duke Street was not available for comment.
Company
Adelie is a food products company that services grocery stores, retailers, coffee shops and airlines with ready-made fast food. It is located in Slough, outside London.
Adelie has four subsidiaries: Brambles Foods, Buckingham Foods, Food Partners Group and Superior Food.
