
Duke Street sells Baywater's Irish subsidiary
Duke Street Capital has sold the Irish division of Baywater Healthcare to Air Liquide, generating a 2.5x multiple through the partial exit.
The GP will retain Baywater's UK division. According to the deal's advisers, the transaction took around 10 months to complete.
Previous funding
Duke Street backed the management buyout of NYSE-listed Air Products & Chemicals' UK homecare business in December 2013, renaming the newly formed business Baywater Healthcare.
Company
Crewe-based Baywater provides healthcare services to patients with long-term conditions, with a focus on oxygen therapy. Its Irish subsidiary provides oxygen therapy, at-home continuous positive airway pressure support for sleep apnoea, and non-invasive ventilation support. It serves around 10,000 patients in Ireland.
The company is headquartered in Dublin and operates six depots across the country.
