Edge Investments backs DeltaDNA
Edge Investments has injected £750,000 in Edinburgh-based games analytics company DeltaDNA.
Edge invested via its Edge Performance VCT, a £67m vehicle that has invested in around 50 companies. The fund focuses on creative industries and technologies.
The investment is part of a £1.8m funding round, with the remaining equity provided by early-stage investor Par Equity, Scottish media company STV Group and Scottish Investment Bank.
The fresh capital will be used for expansion into the US and to strengthen its customer support offering. Edge Performance will also use its network to increase distribution across the creative industries.
According to Edge, the global video games market generates revenues of £43bn annually.
