Platina acquires Slieve Rushen wind farm
Platina Energy Partners and 123 Venture have acquired the Slieve Rushen wind farm in County Fermanagh, Ireland, from Quinn Insurance.
The pair acquired the site through a competitive tender process managed by Investec, following Quinn's fall into administration.

The deal was supported with debt supplied by Rabobank.
Company
Slieve Rushen is one of the largest single-site wind farms in Ireland, with an installed capacity of 54MW, through 18 3MW wind turbine generators.
The site was commissioned in April 2008 and produces enough energy to power 30,000 homes.
