DFJ Esprit has injected $3.2m into Datahug, an Irish business networking automation company.
The fresh capital will support the expansion of the firm into the US and help strengthen its customer base across several industry sectors.

Founded in 2010 and based in Dublin, Datahug aims to drive companies' sales and business development. The company's software solution identifies who knows who across a company's network of connections and reveals previously unknown relationships that could aid business development. The software solution indexes communication logs including emails, contacts and calendar data to create a connection network, in which connections are ranked according to how well contacts know one another.
