LDC provides Forest Holidays with follow-on funding
Rural holiday accommodation provider Forest Holidays has opened its eighth site with follow-on funding from LDC.
The new site in Micheldever, Hampshire, is the first addition to Forest Holidays' location portfolio since LDC first invested in 2012.

LDC backed the management buyout of Forest Holidays in September 2012. The acquisition saw the Camping and Caravanning Club exit the business, while the Forestry Commission retained a "significant" share.
Bank facilities were provided by Lloyds Bank Wholesale Banking & Markets, led by Richard Smith.

Sites include the Forest of Dean, Sherwood Forest, Keldy in North Yorkshire, Deerpark Forest in Cornwall, and Argyll and Strathyre in Scotland.
