
North West Fund injects £550,000 into Ultromex
The North West Fund for Energy & Environmental has invested £550,000 in British waste management business Ultromex.
The investment vehicle is managed by CT Investment Partners.
Company
Ultromex is a Birkenhead-based waste management business that specialises in the recovery of high-value metals from electronic and industrial waste. Jonathan Quinn and Harry Middleton founded the company in 2011. The company expects to post revenues of £10m by 2016.
Ultromex currently works in partnership with recycling businesses and is building a plant with an annual 8,000 tonne capacity in Ellesmere Port.

Partner Adam Workman led the deal on behalf of CT. He will also join Ultromex's board of directors as non-executive director.
