
Marwyn backs Haversham IPO
Listed private equity fund Marwyn Value Investors is backing the IPO of investment firm Haversham Holdings on AIM, investing £8.96m in exchange for new shares in the newly launched fund.
Haversham, with the support of institutional investors Invesco, Artemis, Aviva and Schroders, is raising £30m through the flotation to fund due diligence and operating capital ahead of acquisitions.
Marwyn's investment represents 4.8% of Haversham's NAV.
Company
Haversham will look to acquire and develop businesses in the UK and Europe, operating in the automotive, support services, leasing, engineering and manufacturing sectors. It will target companies with enterprise values of between £250m-1bn.
People
Haversham has been established by Avril Palmer-Baunack, who is executive chairman, alongside James Corsellis and Mark Brangstrup Watts. Robert Ware is chairman of Marwyn.
