Bank of Scotland Integrated Finance has acquired Charterhouse Print Management from its retired shareholders in a management buyout deal of undisclosed value. BOSIF has invested a combined debt and equity package in return for a 20% stake in the business with management owning the balance. Deloitte introduced BOSIF to the opportunity. The adviser was running an auction process on behalf of the vendors.

Company

Hatfield-based Charterhouse was founded in 1970 and also has offices in Tonbridge, London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Warsaw and Stockholm. It provides UK and multinational blue-chip organisations with print management and complementary services. The company employs 100 staff.

The transaction was led for BOSIF by Nigel Irvine, Owen Sennitt, David Lock and Jamie Foster. Gary Mahoney is the CEO of the business.
