MTI leads investment in Oxford Photovoltaics
MTI Partners has led a £650,000 investment round in UK cleantech company Oxford Photovoltaics Limited (OPV).
Parkwalk EIS Technology Fund 1, the World Gold Council and a number of angel investors also participated in the round. MTI invested through its UMIP Premier Fund. The lead investor had analysed OPV for a considerable amount of time prior to the investment. It was attracted to the deal because it believes the company has strong potential for commercial success.
Funding will support an acceleration of the company's growth.
