
Levine Leichtman acquires CJ Fallon
US private equity firm Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP) has purchased Dublin-based CJ Fallon from previous backer Lonsdale Capital Partners.
The deal marks the GP's first investment from its €100m Levine Leichtman Capital Partners Europe Fund and was supported by a senior credit facility provided by Ulster Bank Ireland.
Lonsdale Capital Partners acquired CJ Fallon in July 2013.
Company
CJ Fallon provides educational content to primary and secondary schools across Ireland, in both print and digital formats.
Established in 1927, the company currently operates 900 titles across 20 subject areas, including maths and English benchmarking assessments.
