
Endless buys Cinesite
Turnaround investor Endless has acquired a 60% stake in London-based visual effects company Cinesite from Kodak.
The transaction was made through Endless's Fund III, which closed on £220m in July 2011.
The investment will underpin the global expansion of the firm, the growth of the team and the development of the visual effects service offering.
Company
Founded in 1991 and headquartered in London, Cinesite is a creative visual effects company. The firm produces digital effects for feature films and TV shows including Pirates of the Caribbean, X-Men and Harry Potter.

Endless managing partner Garry Wilson led the transaction alongside investment director Aidan Robson and associate director Simon Mason. Antony Hunt is managing director of Cinesite.
