
Penta rides off with Endura
Penta Capital has led a minority investment in UK cycling apparel designer Endura.
Maven Capital Partners also participated; its client funds provided development and replacement capital to the company as part of the investor syndicate.
The investment will be used to increase the company's presence in international markets.
Company
Headquartered in Livingston, Scotland, Endura was founded in 1992. The company designs and manufactures high-performance clothing for mountain, road, urban and commuting cyclists, as well as helmets, eyewear and luggage.
Its products are sold in 20 countries including in the US, the UK, Europe, and South America.
Endura reported revenues of £24m for the year to 30 April 2014.

Jim McFarlane is founder and managing partner of Endura. Steven Scott is partner at Penta and has joined the board of Endura as part of the transaction. David Milroy is investment director at Maven.
