Penta Capital backs Six Degrees Group
Penta Capital has invested ТЃ60m in cloud service provider Six Degrees Group.
The group was founded earlier this year through the acquisition of three companies for £30m.
Previously Penta Capital backed SpiriTel which was later sold to Daisy Group for £37m. Six Degrees Group and SpiriTel were launched by entrepreneur Alastair Mills.
Company
London-based Six Degrees Group is a provider of enterprise cloud services for UK mid-market businesses. The group comprises datacentre owner UKSolutions, networking provider NetworkFlow and voice services firm Protel.
Founded in 2011 the group employs about 100 people and has approximately 1,200 business customers. Clients include investment banks, corporate lawyers and brands such as ICAP, Linklaters and GAB Robins.
