LDC's EDM Group acquires Filing Plus

EDM Group merged with Sala in October 2011, creating an entity valued at £52m. The acquisition of Filing Plus will expand the operations of the Wolverhampton-based business to London.

Filing Plus, founded in 1996, provides document consultancy services and file audits to corporate and public sector customers. Based in London, it employs 85 staff and recorded a £4.3m turnover in 2011.

Investment director Alex Clark worked on the deal for LDC. Filing Plus founder Guy Spragg has joined the EDM management team.
