Summit Partners expands European team
Summit Partners has appointed Thomas Tarnowski as principal in its London office.
Tarnowski will lead Summit's European healthcare and life sciences team. He joins Summit from Triton, where he led the Nordic healthcare team focusing on healthcare services and medical technology investments.
Prior to his seven years at Triton, Tarnowski worked for Credit Suisse First Boston in the financial sponsors group, and Citigroup.
Tarnowski holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA in finance from Valdosta State University.
Darren Black has also been appointed managing director in Summit's Boston office.
Summit has raised close to $15bn in capital and invested in more than 70 companies across the healthcare and life sciences industry since its inception in 1984.
