Video: market sentiment is on the up, says CIL's Jon Whiteman
Unquote interviews Jon Whiteman from CIL Management Consultants, which won the Commercial Due Diligence Provider Of The Year category at the 2020 British Private Equity Awards.
Jon Whiteman, partner at CIL, discusses the firm's ongoing sentiment survey, with the latest issue showing a recovery after a marked drop earlier in the year. He also discusses how due diligence requirements have changed in light of increased competition for assets and the added impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Using the example of Aston Barclay, Whiteman details how commercial due diligence is now a tool useful across the lifespan of the investment as opposed to just a deal-focused service.
