Invest Europe CEO Höppner to depart

Invest Europe CEO Dörte Höppner is to leave the association after five years at its helm and will be replaced by public affairs director Michael Collins.
Having joined the European industry trade body in 2011, Höppner has led Invest Europe's rebrand – it was previously known as EVCA – and the publication of its Professional Standards Handbook and Investor Reporting Guidelines.
Höppner is moving to law firm P + P Pöllath + Partners where she will work alongside the managing director. Her replacement, Collins, will assume her role on 1 October 2016.
Collins joined Invest Europe three years ago as public affairs director and was named deputy CEO last year. He was previously managing director of European government affairs at Citigroup. Prior to that he spent 15 years as a UK Treasury civil servant.
