Terra Firma appoints ANZ's Géczy as CEO
Terra Firma Capital Partners has appointed Andrew GУЉczy, previously of Australia & New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ), as CEO.
The new recruit will replace Tim Pryce, who stepped down as CEO earlier this year but remains in the role of managing director and is a member of the senior management team.
Géczy leaves his role as CEO of international and institutional banking at ANZ, having spent three years with the firm, and will take up his new position in September 2016.
Prior to joining ANZ in September 2013, Géczy spent four years as CEO of wholesale banking and markets at Lloyds Banking Group. He also spent three years as senior managing partner at financial advisory firm Manres, which he founded in 2005.
Terra Firma also recently appointed three new managing directors to focus on secondaries and special situation transactions in the European market.
