17Capital fully realises first fund
17Capital, a provider of preferred equity finance for the secondaries market, has fully realised its first fund six years after closing.
The 2010-vintage vehicle raised €88m, which was committed to nine investments across Europe and North America, none of which delivered losses. 17Capital declined to comment on specific return figures for the fund, but said it had met the targeted returns set out at launch.
17Capital has since raised two funds: the 2012-vintage €208m 17Capital Fund 2, which is fully invested; and 17Capital Fund 3, launched in 2014 and closed on €500m.
The firm provides preferred equity financing for private equity portfolios and was the subject of an unquote" profile last year.
