
Unigestion announces two new hires for London team
Unigestion has expanded its London private equity team with the appointments of Joana Castro and Vivien Blossier.
Castro joins from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) where she was a principal focusing on private equity fund investments and co-investments. Before her time at the EBRD she was an M&A analyst at Goldman Sachs.
Blossier joined from Pomona Capital, where he became a secondaries market specialist, after a spell at Emerging Capital Partners and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
The hires are part of Unigestion's effort to reinforce its UK team and increase its EU presence overall.
Unigestion is currently raising its latest secondaries and direct funds, Unigestion Secondary Opportunity IV and Unigestion Direct Opportunity 2015. Both funds completed first closes earlier on in the year.
