Connection Capital hires Barham

Barham joins from Hamilton Bradshaw, as part of Connection's plan to broaden its private equity capabilities.

Prior to joining Connection, Barham worked as commercial director at mid-market outfit Hamilton Bradshaw from April 2015. He was responsible for private equity and direct commercial investments at the Mayfair firm.

Barham joined Hamilton Bradshaw after a four-year stint as finance director at British outdoor goods retailer Snow & Rock, between June 2011 and April 2015. During his time at the retailer, his work included the trade sale of the business to Cotswold Outdoor.

From 2009-2011, Bradshaw worked for Octopus Ventures as an associate director, having left a position as investment manager at Westbridge Capital, where he worked from October 2008 to November 2009.

Additionally, he has held roles at Kaupthing Investment Bank and EY.
