Amadeus's Anton and Johnsson leave firm to launch new VC Oxx
Richard Anton and Mikael Johnsson, formerly partner and venture partner at Amadeus Capital, have left the firm to found growth capital firm Oxx, with offices in London and Stockholm.
The new firm will primarily target investments in business-to-business software companies based in the UK, Israel and the Nordic region.
Anton leaves his role as partner after 18 years with the firm. He held a seat on the boards of portfolio companies Relayware, OpenBravo and Clicktale.
Johnsson joined Amadeus in August 2014 and has seats on the board at Now Interact, Qwaya and Loop 54. Prior to joining the firm he spent 11 years at Investor Growth Capital, leaving his role as vice-president in 2011.
