
CPPIB appoints Jackson as MD in London
Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) has hired Derek Jackson as managing director of the principal credit investment team in the firm's London office.
Jackson leaves Davidson Kempner Capital Management, where he had been a managing director since 2009, focusing on the European credit investment sector.
Before that, he spent three years at Alcentra as an executive director working on leveraged loans, mezzanine and high-yield.
Jackson's previous engagements include Talbot Hughes, EY and Andersen.
