Lindsay Goldberg Vogel hires Unger as managing partner
Düsseldorf-based private equity firm Lindsay Goldberg Vogel has hired Thomas Unger as managing partner.
The appointment is intended to strengthen the portfolio companies of New York-based Lindsay Goldberg's European private equity arm.
Prior to joining, Unger was CEO of Constantia Flexibles between 2010-2015.
He worked for Metro Group Asset Management as CFO for six years and as CEO for two years, before leaving the company in 2010. He was responsible for the firm's real estate investments, holdings in Media Markt, Saturn Electronics and the Galeria Kaufhof retail chain, as well as Metro's internal audit department.
Before joining Metro in 2002, Unger was VAW Aluminium's CFO for five years.
