Lonsdale promotes Evans to partner
Lonsdale Capital Partners, a UK-based private equity firm focused on the lower end of the mid-market, has promoted Ben Evans to partner.
Evans has worked for Lonsdale since September 2009, having held the positions of associate director and director. Prior to joining, he worked for Catalyst Corporate Finance between 2006-2008 as an executive. Before that, he held the position of corporate financier at PwC between 2000-2006.
Lonsdale closed its first institutional fund in early 2016, reaching a hard-cap of £110m. The GP had invested on a deal-by-deal basis since inception in 2008, but started raising a closed-ended fund in 2015.
