Apax France appoints Salinger as chief digital officer
France-based Apax Partners has hired Gregory Salinger as chief digital officer, in order to help the digital transformation and development of portfolio companies.
Prior to joining, Salinger worked as the CEO of Videdressing, an online marketplace specialising in pre-owned fashion and luxury goods, between 2015-2017.
Before that, he worked at Microsoft's Paris office between 2001-2012 and held several positions, such as managing director of MSN Paris, head of strategy & operations, and head of marketing and advertising monetisation of Microsoft's consumer and online business. He also has experience from Chateau Online and France Telecom.
This appointment follows the promotions of Annick Bitoun and Henry Capelle to directors and Julien Birman to principal, alongside the appointment of Pierre-Olivier Corvol as senior associate in September 2016.
