Beechbrook appoints Petty to Manchester team

Specialist direct lender Beechbrook Capital has hired Jon Petty as an associate director, based in Manchester.
Petty was previously in Deloitte's debt advisory team and prior to that in the structured finance team of Royal Bank of Scotland. He will work alongside Beechbrook investment director Matt Kenny, who joined in April to head up the company's Manchester office.
Beechbrook supports businesses with a turnover of £10-100m and EBITDA of more than £1m. The lender held a final close of its first UK SME Credit Fund on £150m in January this year and is currently invested at more than 50% via 11 investments, the most recent of which were search services group Wilton & Bain and underfloor heating company Nu-Heat.
