
AlixPartners hires Jouaber from GSK
Corporate finance adviser AlixPartners has hired GlaxoSmithKline's former vice president Hichem Jouaber as managing director.
Jouaber will be responsible for the company's activities in the healthcare and life sciences sectors across the whole of Europe. He will be based in the firm's Paris office.
At GSK, Jouaber was vice-president in the GSK Production System group and was responsible for global manufacturing and supply chain strategy. Prior to joining GSK, Jouaber was a director at car parts supplier Valeo in the area of operational process management.
Jouaber also has previous experience in the consulting industry with Gemini Consulting, where he worked for almost 20 years prior to joining Valeo.
AlixPartners employs 1,500 people in 25 offices worldwide. It recently acted on behalf of Ambienta for its acquisition of Italian machine parts manufacturer Safim.
