Schroders Adveq launches third secondaries fund
Schroders Adveq has registered its third secondaries fund, Schroder Adveq Mature Secondaries Fund III.
The LP confirmed to unquote" that the fund had been registered and will target mature portfolio transactions, but declined to comment further.
It is Schroders' first private equity fund launch since it acquired Adveq for an undisclosed sum in April 2017.
The vehicle's predecessor, Adveq Secondaries II, closed above its $150m target on its hard-cap of $175m in October 2013.
More recently, Adveq held a final close for Adveq Europe VI on €462m in December 2016, with a mandate to invest in primary and secondary transactions.
Law firm Burness Paul registered the latest secondaries fund on Schroders Adveq's behalf.
